Les Quatre Piliers is a Loire Valley estate founded by Valentin Desloges, located in Noyers-sur-Cher in Touraine. The domaine takes its name from one of its vineyard sites, Quatre Piliers, reflecting Desloges’ belief that the identity of each wine should come from the character of its terroir.
After gaining experience with several respected producers in France, Desloges returned to his native region to establish his own estate. Today the domaine farms approximately ten hectares of vineyards divided into around twenty-five parcels across four main sites, including Quatre Piliers, Bel Air, Bernardières, and Les Puits aux Chiens.
The vineyards are planted with varieties typical of the central Loire Valley, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Côt (Malbec). Farming practices focus on sustainability and careful vineyard management in order to preserve soil health and fruit quality.
In the cellar, the approach is minimalist and oriented toward gastronomic wines. Fermentations occur with indigenous yeasts and élevage takes place in stainless steel or oak depending on the cuvée and the character of the fruit.
The range includes Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc cuvées, and reds from Pinot Noir and Côt. These wines are known for their freshness, bright acidity, and precise expression of Touraine’s limestone terroirs.
Les Quatre Piliers represents the new generation of Loire producers combining artisanal scale with a strong commitment to terroir expression.
