Region: Borgoña
Sub-region: Côte de Beaune
Founded in 2005 by David Croix, formerly of Camille Giroud, Domaine des Croix has established itself as a benchmark for refined, terroir-driven wines from Beaune and the Côte de Beaune. The estate covers roughly 6 hectares, with holdings in premier cru sites such as Beaune “Bressandes,” “Cent Vignes,” and “Grèves.”
Croix’s philosophy centers on meticulous vineyard work and minimal intervention. Farming follows organic principles, with careful canopy management and low yields to ensure concentration and purity. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous, oak is used judiciously, and extraction is handled with great delicacy.

The wines are elegant and nuanced — Pinot Noirs that showcase Beaune’s finesse rather than weight. They combine red fruit precision with fine-grained tannins and a vibrant mineral core.
Domaine des Croix has earned widespread respect for elevating the reputation of Beaune, demonstrating that these terroirs can produce wines of grand cru intensity and grace. For importers, the domaine embodies the essence of modern Burgundy: thoughtful, disciplined, and deeply expressive of place.
